A reset should show 5 green LEDS...are you saying you only have 3 green LEDS illuminated? The 2 LEDS on the far right are the yellow LED & red LED which the owners manual says illuminates when an inspection or oil service is due (or overdue when the red one comes on).

Again...it's not clear...do you have 3 or 5 green LEDs illuminated? There are a total of 7 LEDs...5 green, 1 yellow, & 1 red:

I have 5 green (although they look more yellow). I guess thats correct.

If the 5 LEDs (starting from the left) are illuminated...then you're good to go. They will turn off as you reach the consumed fuel calculation for your engine/model. Then when it's time for the next oil service/inspection (that's if you are following the BMW schedule)...then the yellow (6th) LED will illuminate along with either oil serv or inspection. Then if you continue to drive without resetting, the red (7th) LED will illuminate.
