Perhaps there's a critter inside your. You do know that there's a sensor that can detect motions inside the X when it is armed.

Yea I did know that. Kinda cool, one day I reached into an open window to grab something and the alarm went off.

if only it was that easy..

Hi
Did you resolve the issue with the alarm activating, had DIS v57 on mine but shows no faults. Disconnected the bonnet switch and sometimes the interior lights come on and off, checked all door actuations with lights, coming close to pulling my hair out.
Any advice appreciated

Try the Hall sensor...

It's the ultrasonic sensor above the mirror that can tell if someone is inside the car or reaching into an open window.

I think EODguy means Hall Effect sensor... which is not what the interior motion sensor is.

Hall effect sensor are used in the door latches in place of micro-switches (while they are more complex to implement, they are more reliable).

The interior motion sensor is a plain old ultra-sonic system.

But, yeah, as EODguy says, these can also give false alarm triggers.
