Tire opinions wanted

I'm getting ready to replace the Michelin MXV4 tires on my X5. I'm leaning toward Pirelli Scorpion Verdes but also considering Bridgestone Duelers.

My primary consideration is crisp handling during spirited driving. Several years ago we had put a set of Michelin Latitudes on the car and the annoying understeer during hard cornering prompted us to return them (man, I love Costco's customer service and return policy!) I don't want to repeat that situation, so I'd love to hear from those of you who've run the Pirellis and Bridgestones on your X5s.

I have the Bridgestone dueler sport all seasons on my 18" wheels and they are awesome. Got them at Costco when the Bridgestones had the $70 coupon. Quiet and competent tires in dry/wet/mild snow (hey, I go to Utah once in a while just to remind me why I live in a hotter place!).

Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport Non-RFT here.

They feel great, run wide in their size compared to other manufacturers, and life is around 50-60k (I rotate mine). Best pricing can be found at roadway wholesale tire.

I run 255/55/18 Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport All Season tires on the 18s. I have the crusty Michelin Diamaris tires on the 19s (summer wheels). I may just put a set of the Bridgestones on those too and sell the 18s. These tires are very, very good.

I run 19inch Falken FK453 on my X and they are fantastic. Great mileage, Great performance and very quiet. 40psi front and rear. Had the Bridgestone Duelers on when i 1st purchased it and didnt like them.
Sorry, just my experience.

The ride was very harsh. They werent run flats either. Have a look at the Falken STZO5 They come in the size you have.

There are about a zillion versions of the "Dueler" tire, unfortunately.

The H/P Sport is the one to get. Not at all harsh or unforgiving (and I'm on Bilstein sport shocks so I'd know if they were harsh!).

And like clockwork Costco has a $70 off a set of four coupon right now!
