....I need to do a rear brake job 50K... So I'm shopping around for some 'better' rotors....does anyone have any imput between Brembo vs. Behr? Also which is better slotted or drilled, I like the looks of the drilled of course but I heard it cuts down on the life of the rotor? Is this true? I also like the painted hubs of the Behr and they're also slotted and drilled, together. But I dont want to put and inferior part rotors on my X, if they truly are inferior.
I will be using Axxis Ulti. Delux Pads. Since I'll have the wheels off I would like to help out the apparence of my calipers..those lil' guys are U-G-L-Y. Are my only 2 choices either paint, (which just makes me giggle--seems so "99 Honda Prelude-ish") and really expensive Brembo/Stoptech Calipers???? Alright all you beemer-fites....let me know what you think.
