H&R springs will drop it just over an inch in the front and an inch in the rear. Spacers will also help fill the wheel wells. If you go with spacers be sure to get spacers that come will longer lug bolts. Velocity and ECS are good sources.

Or get the spacers from H&R. The DRa style where you mount the spacer to the hub then you mount your wheel to this new hub surface. Safer this way.

H&R WHEEL SPACER 5X120/72.5/14X1.5 BMW 30MM DRA

Silly question (not too familiar with this : the wheels are staggered with 315 rear - any consideration ?
And how should i know the right gage ?

Bolting to the spacer is not the safest method and H&R don't work that way. Depending on the thickness they come with longer bolts. Both H&R and Velocity spacers are also secured to the hub
