Can't Identify Screw

Challange for ya'll
On the engine splash shield, on the front most part of it, there are 3 machine screws that are there.

On RealOEM, I can see the 8 and 10 hex head tapping screws for the other parts that hold the splash shield.

I cannot locate the part # for the 3 machine screws up front.
What am I missing here.

Is the shield the same for the M54/M62TU/N62 from 2000-2006? I only ask because you don't have any model/model year info in a signature or other places for it (and I'm too old to remember although you post often).

If they're the same...those 3 screws are the elusive ones (you're referring to the ones highlighted in purple in RenaissanceMan's image below, right?)

  • blue = item #5 in diagram (BMW part #nbr 07119901311)
  • yellow = item #8 in diagram (BMW part nbr 07119902267)
  • red = item #13 in diagram (BMW part nbr 07119901369)
  • purple = item #8 in diagram (BMW part nbr 07119902267)

Great...so they're the same as the ones highlighted in yellow. Mystery solved!

Do you have the part numbers for the rest of them as well as the clips? Mine are pretty beat and I want to replace them. I went to home depot to rig a set using similar screws and washers but only came somewhat close and it looks very half done.

Check RealOEM for the complete set under Vehicle Trim.

I would check but I assume you may have missing screws or mismatched screws, depending over the years, whoever has worked on it. I'd doubt you are missing clips but u might check and confirm

This info was in post #2 except for the update jsoto just gave.

Here's everything all together with not having to do anything but get the info from the amended image...instead of having to click on the link to the part database that was at the top of the pic in post #2:
