Gear Position Switch..?
Crawling around under the X this eve trying to track down a small fluid leak, and noticed the wires coming out of the gear position switch look terrible. Cracks, corrosion, etc, etc, see cell pics below. Cheapest OE I found was on ECS for $273.35. Wasn't wanting to spend money on it right now, but looks like I might have to. From what I read, I might get a TRANSFAILSAFE, or the transmission won't switch if I move the selector. Do I just need to bend over and replace it ASAP?
