Front+Rear or Just front replaced?

It is just as described above front or rear pads are finished. Fronts have a more quick tendency to finish before. But it can be rears if you did not replace them before.

The car does not tell you front or rear brake wear, it only tells you that they are worn. You have to inspect to find which set is worn out.

Since the wear indicator is on, you must also replace the sensor when you are replacing the worn pads and rotors.

The typical brake wear pattern is that the front brakes wear out at a rate of 2:1 to the rear. Pads also wear at a rate of about 2:1 to the rotors.

If you catch worn pads before damage is done to the rotors, you can often use the rotors through a second set of pads before the rotors are worn below the MIN spec that is printed on them. This is not always true, but it is a general rule of thumb. If the rule does not hold true, then so be it.

Rotors are stamped with a specification of the MIN thickness, and except for a very light trip through a lathe to make them true, you can usually not do any machining to them because the result puts you very close to the MIN spec. If a rotor does not need to be trued, then it should last through a second set of pads. If there are ridges that need to be taken out, then you probably need to replace the rotors. ALWAYS do the same thing on both sides of the car on the same axle.
