Time to rip out the old bags?
The left front strut was replaced 20,000 miles ago (2 years) with a BMW part, the right side replaced 6 months later with a strut from Arnott. I'm getting some sag on the right side already. I thought maybe I had a leak but a local shop tells me the the strut is bad. I'm pretty surprised the Arnott strut is leaking already. Do I just bite the bullet and replace the whole system with coil overs? Jeff |

Yeah, that was pointed out to me on the other thread. Feel silly that I didn't realize that before posting.
![]() I got in there yesterday and sprayed some soapy water and could not find a leak. Doesn't mean there isn't one, just that I didn't see anything with the strut installed. I'm going to give Arnott a call tomorrow and see what their procedure is. It would be nice if they could overnight to me and I send them the core back. Right now the X5 is just stranded, i dont want to kill the compressor. Did that the last time. Jeff |
