Water leaking into dome light/main overhead console

Hey guys,

Ever since my moon roof virtually "exploded" and I finally got it closed (not fixed just shut) I'm not sure if its a problem it had before I purchased the vehicle but all the time, effort and $$$ I've put into this money pit is just getting me frustrated.

During a recent downpour (and previously I went through a car wash to check the seal after the moonroof was closed after it had exploded) I've got water leaking from the two switches in the overhead console. Namely the defunked moonroof and the emergency switches.

Its like the drainage holes are clogged and the rest of the water is draining into the overhead console.

After the trip to the car wash I proceeded to try to seal up the surrounding rubber seal of the moonroof and hoped that solved my leaking problem. Apparently it didn't do much of anything. Still getting the same leaking problem as before (which is described earlier and I've also got a small leak in between the moonroof panels.)

UGH. I love the car and seeing as its a 2005 I know that there may be "some" issues but this is getting ridiculous.

Anyone got any tips/suggestions?
