The reason for the OP was to see if there was some way to raise the window without the key (I had a bavaria with access and a crank for its windows just like we have for the sunroofs). I guess other than removing the door card and "hot wiring" the motor, that isn't an option. I was really tempted to let it get wet just to make the point but we all know who would have ended up dealing with the resulting issues! Thanks all!
