Folding Mirros fix -yes I used the search
looking for the fix... Mirrors fold in and right back out again...
YES, I have used the search feature and read lots of threads, so please don't even.... you know....  Mirror covers have been removed, metal clips found and re-installed.. Still fold in and right back out.... You guys that have been thru this, please help me out... thx, Pup

I would use some dielectric grease on the microswitch connection as it seems the loose connection is what messes it up?

I've got a similar problem. Switch seems to jump out of place. I have been taking the housing apart, re-seat the switch. Everything is good, then a week or two later back to where I started.
Some pictures would be appreciated...

I am pretty sure the clips went back in as they should have.... I used pix from this forum to attempt the repair. Yes, I am sure they are correct...
Seems odd with as many folks that have experienced this same issue, that there isn't a common fix... . I mean if the clip is off and is put back on correctly, it should work... If not go to step 2.... Thing is I can't find step 2.... (I did read , that it's possible to reroute the wires slightly so that they aren't pinched when the cover is put back on , but I tested mine with the covers off as well and no difference) Pup bc
