Mirror Switch Replacement?

My mirror switch doesn't seem to operate the drivers mirror, passenger mirror works great and even goes into reverse mode perfectly. Can I replace the selection switch or fix it? Or do I have to buy an entire unit? Thanks.

Probably not the switch. Probably the motor that does not work.

The switch set to the driver side tells the passenger mirror to dip when R is selected. The rocker switch moves the passenger mirror, so it should also move the driver mirror. The rocker switch works and the passenger mirror dips when directed, so the selector switch is working.

You have two of three things working, the only thing that does not work is the likely problem. Me thinks you need a driver side mirror motor.

Darn, hard to change? I think your all correct. About a year ago the guy changed out
my window regulator when it crashed at the shop. He put it back together and the next day I got it back, mirror didn't work. Probably didn't connect it at the mirror?
Thanks..

Yep, I'd start there. Unfortunately, you have to pull apart the door to check the connectors. If it isn't them, you have to figure out what is broken, put your door together, get parts and do it again. I tried to stack up all my "door apart" repairs in one shot. I hunted for a passenger mirror for mine, did new glass (not really needed to have door off, but timed with new mirror install) and window clips. I had a passenger door handle, but oddly enough, mine is still working. I will fix that ONLY when it snaps. Seems everyone has so much fun with that repair, I left that one alone

The driver door window and mirror switch assembly pulls up and there are 2-3 connectors on it. I'd definitely check they are tight and there are no broken pins given the timing.

My switch assembly did go bad, but I lost window and mirror control at the same time. I open the plastic and found the inner circuit board corroded.

The shop would have disconnected that switch assembly to get to the regulator. I see no reason they would have messed with the mirror unless it was also damaged
