On the actuator...and if the next question is..."where's that?"...see the diagram and link to the part nbr index below...and if you still need more...copy the 11 digit part number for the actuator and type "BMW xx xx x xxx xxx" (were x= actual part number) into a google search box and search for images...which should reveal where the obvious electrical harness connects to it:

Just checking back in. Has anyone noticed any damage or performance loss if you keep running in RWD??

Tempted to try this but really don't want to abnormally damage any parts or even worse break anything.
