An introduction and some big tires...
Hi everybody! I just wanted to introduce myself and share my E53. I was an independent BMW Master Tech for the better part of ten years but have now sold out and am working a desk job at a Toyota dealer. (I did this mainly for the pay and the schedule that allows for plenty of track time.)

My driveway early in the morning on a track day:



I bought my X5 from a friend as a tow vehicle for my E30 track car that could be driven every day. It came with Blizzaks and my quest for summer tires went slightly awry but I'm please with the results. I just installed these today:







Mandatory axle articulation shot...



And the toy that needed a toy hauler:

265/65/17 on a 17x8 rim with 15mm offset. No rubbing yet!
