The V8 gas E53s can still get good range with over 200k miles.

This is mileage traveling in the Coppell, Dallas, Irving, Southlake, Keller TX area (only hwy miles are on 121 and 35, stop and go traffic).

Turned over 171k while down here in Florida... I'll turn 172k on the way home this weekend... Don't know if I'll be able to hold on till 200k before springing for an ///M!

Just hit 200K miles

My 2001 X5 3.0 just hit 200K miles.

I was excited since I am the original owner and have had the car for over 16 years.

New to me X5 E53 with 290K

I wish I could take credit for the maintenance but I just bought it at 290,000 Miles. Runs great. Everything works and even in nice condition. Was owned by a mechanic and he apparently took care of it! Sorry about the sideways pic...

Just picked up another 4.6 which was a german import with 300k on the clock.
I had to do a double take.

253,000 -- rolled over last week. Parked in the drive way waiting for Window Regulator glass retention clips... so still somewhere there about. Replaced about every seal under the hood, every vacuum line, entire CCV system and hoses, spark plugs of course... intake and exhaust camshaft position sensors. Had to do a fix on the fuel syphon jet... but that's about it. Oh and per the window clip this is 3/4 Window regulators I've had to change. Normally the clips just break due to over engineering and the regulator themselves don't fail.
