2001 BMW x53 pass. side window STUCK DOWN
Greetings all-
1.) Rolled down passenger side window on one fine day :-) 2.) Went to roll back up. NOTHING. No sound, nada. 3.) Assumed regulators bad, so bought new reg. with new motor attached 4.) Disconnected window, removed old clips, taped window all the way UP 5.) Installed new regs/motor, went to roll window up to attach window to clips AND>>> NOTHING. NADA. ZIPPO. 6.) Hit DOWN button and moving slide piece went all the way to bottom 7.) Hit UP switch on driver's side AND pass. side remote and NOTHING 8.) Checked fuses. ALL good. 9.) Pushing switch DOWN from either pass. side remote OR driver's side produces a clicking noise. Pushing switch UP from either pass. side remote OR driver's side produces NOTHING. NADA. ZIPPO. 10.) I tried reaching into door panel and grabbing sliding regulator while holding switch button UP. No luck at all 11.) Only other clue I have is that pushing the central locking switch locks or unlocks all other 3 doors, but NOT passenger side. 12.) Final query/question/thought. If I have a bad door actuator, which was working fine before I removed the door panel, fyi, could it be that it is related to the window not rolling back up? ANY help her greatly appreciated !!!
