Coil Spring Question

I have a 2005 X5 with coil spring suspension looking to lift it so:

I was wondering if the HD (Diesel) coil springs are stiffer and taller, or if the X6 coil springs are taller and stiffer, I ask because I had a 03' Baja that I put 05' Baja coil springs on which gave me 1.5"-2" lift, also on my 98' Discovery I put the diesel HD coil spring on and it gave me a 2" lift? If any body can inform me or give me the height of the coil springs it would be appreciated.

Fluid union motorsports in Chicago sells a spacer kit that they will make you although I just managed to fit 285/60r18 Terra grapplers on without a lift

I have talked with them already and they informed me it would be $599 30mm (1 1/8'') lift and I was hoping to get a 50.8mm (2") lift. So if the coil springs are even 25.4mm (1'') taller I can order the spacers equaling 50.8mm (2") total. so this is why I ask hopefully someone will be able to answer.

Look up member SAREK. He has done true off-road build and I believe he did custom lifts because the fluid union ones where to expensive for what they are. His build is fantastic.

i just did this, is it a huge pain in the ass! the fronts are easy, the rear will have you cursing for days! fluid motor union kit is only for air bag equiped x5's. i made the spacers for the front struts, the rear is a work in progress..

I posted it a couple weeks ago but here is no lift 285-60r18Terra grappler g2. I just finished a trip to northern minesota with the vehicle loaded and 1800lbs (three people and gear) still really happy with my choice
