SOLVED! Removing overhead console with Ultrasonic Sensor
HELP PLEASE!
I'm trying to fix my ultrasonic sensor but couldn't remove the two screws towards the rear. I've removed the other screws behind the vanity lights - closer to the rear view mirror. Are there suppose to have screws there where the ultrasonic sensor is located? Pics courtesy by Crystalwork on another thread.

I believe that panel should just pop right out. Use a small flat head to gently pry down the top leftish corner until it starts coming apart and then gently pull down

Are you trying to remove #24 or #5? I believe #24 houses the two sensors and if that's what you are trying to remove it definitely just snaps out, no screws. Not sure about #5 though.

^What they said.
1. Pop out front courtesy light/map lights. 2. Reach up and in to pop out homelink module as shown in pic 3. Reach through homelink hole to pup out sonic alarm module Easy peazy. If you are trying to drop the whole thing, then you can remove the screws to drop the whole panel. There are 4 screws there as shown in the pic, but only 2 are necessary to remove for console removal. It's the ones under the sonic module I think. The front ones do the job of holding 2 parts of the console together if memory serves.

Crytalworks,
Thanks again for assisting. Steps I did to try and remove Roof console: 1. Pop out front courtesy light/map lights - Done 2. Removed two torx screws - Done 3. Reach up and in to pop out homelink module - Done This is where I'm stuck. ![]() 4. Reach through homelink hole to pop out sonic alarm module - No Go! Tried Blackbeast method: 5. Use a small flat head to gently pry down the top leftish corner until it starts coming apart and then gently pull down - Really really tight! Tried to forced it down....I'm almost about to break the Roof panel! Found a similar panel on ebay. Noticed that I placed arrows and circles to highlight location Here....the Ultrasonic sensors are torx screwed. The red arrows points to a screw hole? Yellow arrow - could this be the thing holding the rear of the roof panel?
