How to change Diesel fuel filter (x5 e53 3.0D)

Hi,

Just wondering if you need to do anything special when changing the diesel fuel filter?

Is it just as easy as putting the new one on then turn the key on acc for 1 minute so fuel pump pressurises the lines again?

Yes that is exactly what I done with no issues , but its a bugger to get to.

no worries. thanks mates. any idea how often it should be done?

What's the best way you find to get to it. From what I saw on YouTube you need to take the side skirting under nether bit off as well.
