follow up on start problem

went to stealer today to have the car check out , they toll me thay can not find anything wrong with the car. it does not have any code in computer . but there is a recall on Ignition coil ( they also check that out and it fine ) I gues just wait and see . the recall # 05E-A01 . check with stealer see it apply to your car.

What happens?? I have a start problem as well. Mine is when I turn the key, the engine turns over like half way and doesn t start. I turn the key back and then on again and it starts. Dealer can't find anything and can't duplicate. It is rather annoying...........

That used to happen to me from time to time...I would put the key in and turn it and nothing would happen...I would flip it back and try again then Bingo it would start...is used to scare the hell out of me.

Hi Guys, i am not a pro in this, but I think the case is from the car key battery, and its not charging properly, when you put the key in the car and turn it on and not starting because the car should read a code from the key, but when you try to do it again it start, because the battery is already charged a little, this happened to me when I tried to use my spare key after a long time of no use, and I couldn’t start the car the first time, but worked in the next time after charging, if this often happening with you, I advice to:

1- Try to use the spare key, and see if the problem still there?
2- The key battery is charging properly?

Maybe its something else, I am just trying to help…

In my case the car start and run about 2 second and shut off , try to start it back , the car cranking very good but will not run at all .after fews tries it run, but sound like running on 3 cylinder only & clear out after 10 second . and everything back to normal again . ( it happen on tuesday morning and today is friday ) everything good .
