After 7 months I'm enjoying my E53

Bought my X5 in January. Seller needed to get rid of it so I offered 4k and to my surprise he took it. I figured for that price I had a few bucks to fix it up a bit of something went wrong. Dropped it off at my mechanics a few weeks and $1400 (suspension parts, gauge pixel repair, maintenance items all addressed.) Runs and drives great, only thing that doesn't work is my FM radio. It's odd, CD player and AM radio work, must be a bad FM antenna.
Anyway, updated the wheels to 19s, and I know it's not for everyone, but since the black paint was kinda beat and I like to play with the stuff, I Plasti dipped it Balloon Pearl white.
This is my 6th BMW. I've had 2 E46 330CI (1 an Alpine White ZHP), an E36/37 M Roadster, & 2 E46 M3s, including my current Steel Grey/Imola M3. I love these cars, and the X5 fits right in. In fact, I think I'm going to start saving a for an X6 for the wife!

The plastidip looks pretty good! I like how you left the roof black.

Quite an impressive transformation. I don't know anything about plastidipping or what it entails, but it sure looks great in the pic.

Welcome and good score. The plasti-dip is pretty funny. Did you use a top coat to make it glossy?

Yeah, it's 3 coats white PDS, 3 coats top coat with balloon white pearl, & 3 coats straight top coat. Like I said, I know it's not for everybody, and I'd never dream of doing it to my M3.
