Help Identifying Part

Good Afternoon Guys,

So I recently picked up an OEM Hitch for my E53 from a local BMW salvage yard. I got all the parts necessary to retrofit it to my E53 but I have two brackets and i'm not sure where they go. I've gone over several DIYs and haven't seen them mentioned anywhere. Tried looking for a part number on the part but there was none. Even tried Real OEM to see if I could find them on a diagram with no luck. Like I said, I'm fairly certain that i don't need them to retrofit the tow bar and he may have just given me some parts that I didn't need but I'm curious to know what they are. I attached several pictures of the bracket in question, if anyone can let me know what they go to I'd appreciate it.
