Blue connector in boot (trunk)

First off apologies for the noob-I-ness of the post but I tried searching with no joy.
Car is a euro spec in case this makes a difference.
Found this connector in the boot, is this the oem sub connector?
If so, could I use these wires to connect a low line convertor and install an aftermarket sub / amp.
I know I'd need a remote, Earth etc
