Radio issues

last week when I would raise my center console the radio would cut on. I read that it could be a black plug in the console so I found one with roughly 5 wires disconnected it it looked great and plugged it back in. it did not change anything however now when I'm going down the road the radio will randomly cut off and it still doesn't cut off when I turn the car off. since I have already checked that plug can anyone give me some insight on these two seemingly related issues thank you

which radio do you have and what center console are you talking about? Also, do you have the bluetooth with the snap in adapter under your arm rest?
