A couple new things for the X

I've yet to see this on any other E53 (possibly for good reason haha) I painted the plastic mesh inserts on the front bumper bright metallic silver. Had to remove the bumper and they just clip right off. So far I think I like it. I would never do that on any other color X though...


Also scored a free pair of OE ski racks, plasti dipped the rear emblems, hood vents, and of course the wheels.

What do you guys think?

OE Sport package E53's had silver mesh, but it was not bright silver. I always liked the silver in my 3.0 and have considered replacing my 4.8is with it.

To RB's point, I did have a hole in mine and the silver color made it noticeable.



Last year around this time, I even screwed around in Photoshop and tried to see what the 4.8 would look like with it. I still kinda dig it...

I think that looks really good! The grills come on and off fairly easily once you have the front bumper off the car.
