SHock and springs
and do i need a spring compressor for this jobs ? thanks

You asked several questions. Yes and No and Yes. Yes, you need a spring compressor if you plan to swap out your coil springs. No, you don't need one for the shock absorbers. Yes, Bilstein are a reputable brand. So are Koni and a host of others. Bilsteins are OEM fitment on a number of Euro vehicles including Mercedes, BMW and I believe some model Corvettes also use them.

Koni would be a better application shock for the 3.0L X5. The bilstein is too stiff.
