Pictures needed please.....

Just can't stop grinning about the X5!!!!!!

I am asking for pictures of bumpers.
I have a 2004 X5 4.4i
I am wanting to repaint the front and rear bumpers.
They have some scratches and need touch up.
Really liking the front skid plate look so I'm having that painted
silver body colored.
As for the rear bumper, I'm wanting the lower curved area painted
silver body colored also. I am looking for pictures for my paint shop
to follow. My final mod will be front and rear mud flaps.

If anyone has a Silver X5 with those additions, by all means
Send those pictures over!!!!!

Are these what you are looking for? Those black spots are dirt, not chips, except around the edges, those are chips/flakes from when I pulled the tape off. Please excuse the dirty car.

For sharp tape lines and good paint stick, make sure you tape, scuff with "00" or "000" steel wool, wipe with a cloth DAMP with solvent/MEK, light coat of Bulldog Bite (plastic primer), then paint. The paint will bond well to the plastic with this process.

That's a good tip. I didn't do this, I just used the adhesion promoter.

Dayam.
Stevie Wonder could follow that blueprint!

Thank you.
Looking forward to having mine done as yours.

If anyone had rear mud flaps WITH the lower bumper paint,
that would be superb!
Also looking for going shots of the front "skid plate" mod.

Thanks guys!!!!!!!!

Joshdub, how to do keep your exhaust tips that shiny? What do you use? Mine have turned dull.

No problem!

I use Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream. It works wonders on exhaust tips.

Josh how is the Eibach rear sway treating you? I always thought about adding it

It's nice. It wasn't as big of an improvement as I have experienced in the past with sway bars. It's a mild upgrade. If you can find one on sale or used I'd go for it but I wouldn't reccomend rushing out and buying one new

^I appreciate the genuine input. I'll probably save $$ for maintenance stuff, some PDR, or a Shark Injector for my MT
