Shudder when braking at speeds over 40-50mph

I had a shudder in the front end not to long ago and I solved it by replacing 1 of the front stabilizer links, which when I pulled on it you can hear the joints clunking, they were worn out and very loose. its been a couple of weeks now and the shudder is totally gone.
but looking at the other front end parts ,they are not to far off to be replaced, so I will be rebuilding the front end next spring.
