Smoking engine observations
After extended idle, I do get a puff of smoke if I rev the engine. The first thing I checked and cleaned were the twin CCV diaphragms. They were clean and no rips. I have a steep sloped driveway. I normally back in fireman style. Lately I have been nosing in. I have found that nose up condition seems to eliminate the smoking. Conversely, nose down exasperates the smoking. I can not think of a reason why this would be happening. Any thoughts?

This is the classic N62 valve guide seal issue, "After extended idle, I do get a puff of smoke if I rev the engine".
The valvetrain area could have better draining characteristics rearward then forward.
