HELP PLEASE - Service interval/Stealership question

[Boston X5 4.4]

Dropped my X off today for annual (low mileage) oil change (21K miles) and a few minor annoyances - need new wiper blades, rattle in trunk lid etc.
There was still one green light left in service interval.

Anyway, I just got a call from dealership that they went ahead and did the full service interval service anyway. Shouldn't they have checked with me first?????
Based on my low mileage the full service would probably not be due for another few months in my opinion.
I am going to pick the car up in an hour or two - does this early service matter in your opinion, other than they should have at least asked first?
How should I deal with this?

Your maintenence is included in your warranty, right? For low mile cars, time becomes the deciding interval. Even if you had one more green bar, your fluids may have reached the time limit. You should deal with this by saying "thanks". An early service can't hurt.
