Short story---there have been many many threads about how to lower the riding height of a 4 bag system. The recalibration is done using the INPA/DIS software. If I recall correctly the drop can be as much as 1.5in. There have been no complaints about changes in handling or ride.

Thanks for the info, but I think that I'm going to switch to a full coilover suspension and get lowering springs on that. Any recommendations on what I should use?

I had my X lowered by 19 mm's front and back, and the ride was harsher but still manageable. What was worse was the bounce from the lack of suspension travel. I then raised it by 9 mm's and the ride is almost factory but still looks lowered, best of both worlds.

Jmainie, regarding your last post, there is a member on here who switched to coilovers on his IS and I remember him saying the increase in ride quality was night and day better over the factory airbags, but I can't remember the brand name of the coilovers.

Not up to speed enough to make a suggestion. I considered coilovers several years ago but could not justify the cost/benefits over other paths to lowering and better handling for street driving.
