Quick question, Eisenmann Race + Magnaflow X pipe 4.6iS (video soon)

Hi everyone,

I've been waiting a month almost and sometime this week I'm receiving my Eisenmann Race mufflers
I also purchased a 2.5 inch magnaflow xpipe.
I've been reading a lot about how people have lost low end torque with the X pipe. Do you think it would be a good combination with the Eisenmann Race mufflers? Anyone have experience with this? I don't want to lose power.

I'm thinking to maybe not put the X pipe?

Soon as everything is installed I'll post a video, as I haven't seen many 4.6iS Eisenmann vids online.

Thanks!

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Put the Eisenmann on first with the factory resonator. If you enjoy the sound as is, don't worry about the Xpipe. If you are longing for more after the Eisenmann, do the Xpipe.

Personally I think Xpipe plus aftermarket exhaust is too much.

Yes the X-pipe with the Eisenmann Race is much too much noise. You will have drone and few other nasty noise variables (pop crackling) in the vehicle. I have the Eisenmann Race on my 4.6is X5 and its awesome but I did leave the factory resonator in place. The resonator has a lot of sound absorption material in it. leave it on. I think you will pleased with unit.

Thank you for the great feedback. I'll most likely leave the X pipe off then for now as I most certainly don't want drone etc! I found that Supersprint make a tuned resonator for the 4.6iS and it is not all that expensive. In the future that could be a good upgrade.. without losing power either..

Same set up as above but on a 4.8.

You will love it.

Any power gain or loss within the rpm range will be negligible.
