2001 4.4 how do i disconnect the alarm when battery drains?

hi,
my x5 battery drained last night in the street and the alarm started going off at about 6 am. i know it must have annoyed my neighbours.
at 7.30 am realised that it was my car and went out. i couldn't turn the alarm off.
i have had the battery, etc. tested and its all fine.
if it happens tonight how can i silence the alarm (remove a fuse etc) until the recovery gets here?
thanks
