check your tire pressures, they might be too high then. As for the rattles, definitely get some gummipfledge. As for the rattles on the hatch especially the top half, there are 2 rubbergrommets. Sometimes, they are screwed in to far and will causes rattling. Back that up half a turn. Another idea that Ed aka TripleX5 did if you mind a little extra weight, Dynamat everything.

Thanks for the advice MD . As far the Geolandar's go they were VERY stiff indeed. Potholes meant jolts through your back and concrete highways meant bouncing to make you uneat your food. Add the SP to these tires and its a double whammy. Through turns though, it felt very squirmish and you lost a lot of the "reading" ability.
