seat removal...no power

Is there a way to manually adjust the seat so I can take it out? My battery cable melted and I need to replace it but I can't get to the rear bolts.

Hard way = tap into the seats harness with +12v and ground.
Easy way = apply +12v to the battery post under the hood and ground at the chassis ground at the fender.

You can either use a battery to do that or one of those lithium ion jumper packs. Both would work. Just make sure you don't have a short where your battery cable melted.
