VALVE COVER GASKET BOLTS

Does anybody have a picture from the Bentley manual to post here with the torque specs and torque sequence for valve cover o M54 engine?
I did a search, I find conflicting information on the torque.
I have yet to see the tightening sequence.
Thank you.

The torque spec on those bolts is something like 22 in. lb. You can make these bolts tight with a nut driver, and certainly they can be over tightened with a 1/4" socket handle.

6 ft lbs. And no more. I broke one when I missed hearing the click of my torque wrench

89 in. lb. is the right spec. I think I called out 22 earlier, that's too low. But still, you can do this with a nut driver or a 1/4" drive handle. DO NOT USE A FT. LB. TORQUE WRENCH HERE, such a wrench will be working at the very bottom end of its adjustable range, where it will be not very accurate. If you are going to use a "not so accurate" tool, just use a 1/4" drive handle and calibrate your wrist. 89 in. lb. will put you at about 7 ft. lb.
