That was one messed (and sad) story. Dealer screws up... "not our problem!"

At least it ended well.

I thought of that but.... Figures $65 is not a big deal so instead I made few people there to be aware of the sitiation and may use it as leverage later, like to get a better deal on next lease...
Oh, that not a GM it is a Infiniti

That's the one. Luckily it turned out the way it did. I wonder if he still has his X. Saw a black 4.8is in his area last night.

Oh, I just remembered another one that happened years ago- dealer wanted to charge $380 (2 hours labor) to change the front right blinker bulb! They said they needed to take off the bumper and then the headlight, and then finally re-aim the headlights after they put everything together on the X5. I did it myself without removing the headlight nor bumper. Granted it was tough but I can now change it in 15 or so minutes.

$360 of that is for the BMW brand Blinker fluid. It's worth more than gold . Strange how the claim to have to re-aim after a simple signal change?

It's sad, but this happens more commonly on the Bangle generation cars in regards to the angel eyes. (~$100 or so)
