Free beer!
So a bit of a disclaimer:
There is free beer. This part is true. It's not "bottomless" nor will your server be. I just finished reading a thread and at the end, the OP announced that he had fixed the problem, saved a ton of money and hadn't made things worse. Best of all, had not given a dime to BMW's "residual income" I mean parts department. It was one of four or five like it I've read and this might just be the medical marijuana talking but it all made me want to thank you. So, should you find yourself in Seattle and can show with a phone, tablet or computer able to display this forum AND document that you have ever answered a question for or helped me in some small way here in the xoutpost or e39 forums AND are within 15 feet of my position (in the same bar or eating establishment or purveyor of fine brew) AND I'm not piss broke from the "other thing" my vehicle did to me that day/week AND you're wearing (at the least) shoes, shorts and a shirt according to the sign at the entrance... I would like to buy you a beer. If you don't qualify don't beat yourself up about it. I just wanted to say thank you in a more personalized way than a emoticon "thumbs up" You're changing lives veterans. Kids wet behind the ears are learning from you, stuff their parents never had time or the knowledge to. It takes a village. Heat-resistant plastic would be cool too at times but I'll settle for the village any day. http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...otor-asap.html This, this is one of the best parts of this community. It happens daily and it's powerful stuff. Pay it forward if you're new to this forum but soak up as much as you can so you, me, we can help the next hapless bastard dumb enough to buy one of these fascinating vehicles we can't help but love. Because, missery loves company and we all need help eventually and occasionally someone to laugh at and someone to admire for the mass of work if not piles of cash they directed to doing something incredible or incredibly, insanely stupid to their rigs. Hence inspired to be just as bold and try something new. I said it before, thank you. Thanks now, last week and next. Cheers!
