Climate Control Panel

New to the forum. Been trying to search the forum for a solution but did not have any luck. I am hoping you guys can help me out. I have been addressing done of the small issues on our 05 X5. The latest was taking apart the climate control panel as a couple buttons were not springing back up. So I disassembled the panel and got all the buttons working but when I plugged it back in the panel lights up but nothing displays on the screen and none of the buttons work. It was a straight forward repair so I'm not sure what happened. Anyone know?

Probably the connection where the screen plugs into the board?

Everything is plugged in and I confirmed the connection at the screen into the board is good. I have attached a photo of what it looks like right now. It lights up but no buttons work.

Most likely you cracked the circuit board when reassembly.

Here's a Youtube video by a guy that repaired a climate control board for a BMW E36. Perhaps he can repair your unit. Back then he only charged $10.00 plus shipping. His contact info is in the Youtube video.

Found my problem it was a blown fuse 7.5 amp number 48

It would be so helpful if people would end a post with the resolution. It would make finding a solution when you search older post so much more useful. I am guessing blown fuses is a sign of more to come!
