undocumented dash light

Hi
I am wondering if anyone can tell me what the sort of yellow double car symbol is, it is right next to the Traction control light

It is one of the icons that would illuminate if you had the ACC (active cruise control) option:

The icon is there because it's on all of the high clusters found on the e39/e38/e53 models even if the option wasn't offered in your BMW market.

The video below (by Edwin of the Netherlands aka Homerraas on YouTube) shows how the icons illuminate and how ACC works...he's driving an e38 7 series:

Thanks for the clarification on Cruise control light.

Hi Qsilver7, thatnks for clearing that up, I think I switched it on by accident, when I was experimenting with the codes in the dash, I don't suppose you would know which code to use to switch it off again.??

Sorry...I don't know about any code to turn it off. If it was turned on by software you have...I'd try going back and undoing what ever turned it on.

You can switch this off via PA soft - IKE module then go into "reprogramming" under "other options."
