Dings and Scratches
Okay, going on my 3rd year with my 2001 X5 and I have more then enough dings and marks all over the X then I can stomach. Am I alone? Who else dares to post images of the most displeasing parts of your X5.
I am thinking about getting the bumpers redone, I would like to do it through insurance if the cost will total over my $500 deductable. Otherwise can some of these marks on the body be removed. Including the scratches on the black part of the mirror assembly whihc was caused by that BMW snow ice remover and the wife trying to be helpful when I was at work on a snow day This is where she sits when home, Chrome 20" 162's are off for the winter ![]() Look closely, you can see paint chips from and whatever ![]() Came out of a mall to find this ![]() Some repair paint from pervious owner, ugly! ![]() One of those mysterious marks that just shows up ![]() ![]() ![]() Be careful with that BMW snow/ice remover. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
