I love mine. When I pick up or drop off counter parts at the airport they are surprised that it is a one hand roll out instead of digging way in the back for their computer bags and stuff. Pretty cool for shopping and tail gating. It is like a table.

If your interested in swapping for a non roller, I have another X5 owner who might be interested.

Question: Where can we get new carpet material for the roller boards? My previous owner spilled something on mine that I can not remove, even with carb cleaner.

Go to eBay type in "auto carpet" you will find what you need. Make sure to purchase one without a backing. Use contact cement and a staple gun.

I mean its not terrible and sometimes getting groceries its ok - I guess what annoys me more is that the matching embroidered carpet mat is NLA from BMW - tried to order it last year and its done, no more. I think you can get the regular carpeted mat for the non-load floor still though.

Find me another X5 owner who wants to swap their OEM running boards out for non aluminum versions and i'll have you a finders fee! Haha
