Wrecked my kidney grilles

Decided to redo the paint on my grilles and got frustrated with waiting for oven cleaner to remove the paint from my kidney grilles so I tried paint stripper instead.... well that didn't work so well as the stripper destroyed the plastic. I need some new ones now, would prefer to have them satin or matte black. Any recommendations on where to buy/what brand to buy?

ECS, price is right, fit and finish is perfect.

You just missed their Christmas sale man. But still worth it, don't gamble on an ebay set. Still free shipping.

Yeah, I was looking at the ecs ones but just wanted to get a second opinion. I don't particularly want crappy grilles falling apart on my x, so I am willing to pay a little more for quality stuff.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I second ECS for black - I went with aftermarket Titan grilles myself off Ebay but they were from Latvia

I went with cheap(ish) ebay ones because they were the only available in gloss black. They aren't horrible, but fitment is poor and most of the guys on the forum didn't like them at all. Had to put the flamesuit on for a bit.

I also tried painting my factory ones (professionally) and was never happy with them. Was not glossy enough and had way too many imperfections.

Check scopioneusa.com for black grills both matte and the gloss black as well as carbon fiber with matte slats. I actually found the carbon fiber at a special price of I believe $164 delivered and I just installed it it's a perfect fit and good quality. That was on eBay and it's a scopione. I don't know about the chrome ones. I have titanium silver on my 2005 4.8is and the black grill really pops nicely. I will be installing the Black oem hood grills tomorrow.

I bought new chrome colored grilles from Rock Auto (Various Manufacturers is the seller) and the clamping to the hood is very bad (not tight at all)
