Note that you want to pry between the plastic nozzle and the grommet, don't try to take the nozzle and grommet out together.

Man this is why I love this forum! You guys rock!

Question: from the look of these pics it seems that one has to get inside the panel nonetheless....considering all the other stuff that needs to be cleaned or un-clogged...?

Prying the nozzle out is fast and cheap - remove that and see if it won't start spraying. With the nozzle out, it is easier to squirt some CLR (or vinegar) into the line. If that doesn't get it going, then you probably need to get access to replace that little check valve on the other side of the trim panel.

I'll definitely try that tomorrow. Just need to find a similar tool, which I'm sure I will. Thanks!

It's a no go, got the nozzle out without any issues just like advised above and checked it. It was very clean, no sign of gunk or debris....blew in it by mouth and air went through with ease. The conclusion must then be to open the panel and check the other stuff and/or triple check the pump and filters.

Ok so I pulled off my nozzle as well. Nozzle was not clogged.

I removed the top of the spoiler (see this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKfEOQet-mg) and found that the check valve was clogged/not working (part number 3 in the picture below). I broke the valve trying to take it apart, so I need to order a new one.

removed the spoiler cover

removed the valve

tried to take apart the valve to unclog it, but I broke it instead..

the valve was stuck in this rubber piece and not mooving as it should

the valve should have moved forward when water pressure was applied and allowed some fluid to come through

for now I took one of the borken pieces and connected the line and the nozzle with duct tape (when the fluid come out, A LOT comes out, the valve is a regulator).

Igzekyativ, that's a shame about your valve....heads-up noted though and thank you for the video. If I knew it was that easy I would have stayed a few minutes extra out in the cold. I'll give it a go tomorrow again and see what happens.

By the way, is it even possible to dismantle the valve body without breaking it?

based on my experience no, it breaks when taken apart, although it does look like it could come apart.
