Front Brake Rotors and Pads DIY E53

So we finally changed the brakes on our 2005 X5, there was literally nothing left to the pads. Made a video on Sunday while doing the repairs, hope it helps someone!

Make sure to pump up the brakes since the caliper pistons were collapsed to accommodate the new pads.

When compressing the pistons to load the new pads be sure to open the fluid reservoir first to avoid any air bubbles building up. You should flush the fluid also.

You can push the Pistons in with the edge of the old pad or use a c-clamp.
