E70 Car cover

will an E70 car cover fit on our E53?

Summer is here (in Houston at least... don't know about the NE you poor saps; that's why I move away from there! LOL) and I take the Bronco with the soft-top out on a daily. Got a chance to get a car cover from a family friend who sold her E70 but found the car cover in her garage. Asked if I wanted to buy it but I don't know if the E70 would fit and I haven't got a chance to get to her side of town (and if anyone knows Houston, you can drive 2.5 hours and STILL be in Houston!) for fitment.

Thanks!

I have an apples & oranges comparison. I own an E36 convertible and have an E46 car cover that fits perfectly. I can't imagine the overall dimensions of an E53 and an E70 are very much different. I say get the E70 cover.

Shouldn't be a problem but since you have to go there to pick it up anyway I would go there and verify fit. If you can't get across Houston in 2 1/2 hours you need to take a route that doesn't have 300 school zones in it or don't ride your bicycle.

Is it for sale on CL? I've been eyeing an E70 cover on there and wondering the same thing...
