Thats a loaded question. I would have said no, as mine seem fine, but one of my high pressure oil cooler lines let go on my 535 at 150,000km. You'll have to assess when you're in there. These things have so many "while you're in there" kind of parts, once you start, it doesn't stop. I try to keep a close eye/ear on the car and replace a little bit at a time to keep ahead of it

Agreed, I actually needed to do my valve cover gaskets at the same time. Once it's apart, you at least save the labor charges by doing what you can. I wouldn't replace the hoses unless they need it, but anything that is questionable I would do. You may want to check the steering hoses as well. I had to replace all 4 of mine. This assumes you plan on keeping the vehicle long term.

Here is when I just did it. Not the most fun project, but not as bad as valve stem seals that is for sure.

If they did the alternator. They may have reassembled the hose support bracket in the wrong order pulling on the lines. You need new o rings and a oil cooler Adapter with thermostat. Ask me how I know...
