3 beeps and no explanation

just a quick question. when im driving my x5 2001 i sometimes hear 3 beeps one after the other i havnt got a clue what it is or why its hapening can anyone help ............il keep an eye on the time when i hear it and the temp cheers!!!!!!!!!

Is that the icing conditions warning? Did you notice what the outside temp was when it happened?

it's most probably the "memo" feature on your on-board computer telling you it's 20 seconds to the hour ... i.e...11:59, 12:59 ... if you don't have nav, you can switch it off using the BC button on your radio unit, scrolling through the options, and disabling the 'memo' ... if you do have nav, it's under the settings menu

i dont think its a ice warning it just hasnt been cold enough in the daytime when it sometimes happens.cheers anyway
