Only tip I can offer that has not been mentioned is the trick on removing these little ones without scratching the paint.

Try this trick: Shipping straps...yep the white plastic ones that hold boxes together. Just slip it under the badge and pull straight up. The push pins are on the backside at 3 & 9 O'Clock. Try to pop each side at a time on the plastic badges.

Maybe it's just me... but the thought of putting a non-OEM roundel on my BMW just doesn't sound right. That roundel is, after all, the very essence of our cars, isn't it??

My original was starting to peel a little, and I had plans to replace it soon, then I think someone decided to steal/peel it off leaving me just the plain silver badge that's underneath.

I bought a new one from the stealer and to remove the old one I just pushed it out from the backside under the hood.

I thought the "Driving Experience" was the essence of our car. The roundel is just the gold chain wearing crowd that buys a BMW as a piece of accessory.

If you don't want to scratch your paint from a flying roundel as in this video, just cut the center out with a dremel and pry from the inside.
